The other day at work I saw an email about how you were approved to bill me for the damages that happened around September 14. When I was without power for a week. You can read the short editorial by clicking here.
I have to say that you being able to bill me to keep your equipment maintained to provide me with a service is amazing. I have since though about this and the next time I'm at Bigg's, or maybe Krogers I think I will offer them some money to pay for repairs when their freezers break down. Because when their freezer breaks it is clearly my fault, and responsibility to repair it for them.
The storm, and being with out power was dramatic enough for your customers but now you're going to slam us with the cost of this storm plus interest. In light of the this I have looked into alternative energy providers and it appears you have the niche for electricity, but I have already changed my gas over to "the other guys" that advertise to me. They even honored their price without a two year contract. Which is why I haven't switched over to them before. No contact is my type of business and plan, and one nice thing I guess about Duke. But in the end when I'm already paying you at least $300 a month I would happily do a contract if I could save 15% a year on energy cost.
Well, if you feel similar about this situation. Fitting the bill for Duke please feel free to follow the link below to file a complaint about these future cost we will see on our bills.
